Dear Researchers,
The European Research Council (ERC) under the Horizon Europe Framework Programme of the European Commission offers some of the most prestigious and generously funded grants supporting pioneering, high-risk, and ground-breaking research ideas.
Ahead of the upcoming ERC Master Class organized by the METU Project Development Office, we are pleased to invite researchers interested in ERC funding to a special preliminary event.
Unlike a typical information session, this event is titled “ERC Misknowns Day” and is designed to go beyond the official facts and figures. In addition to presenting the structure and upcoming calls of the ERC programme, we will uncover often-overlooked aspects of the application process — including silent expectations of evaluators, critical success factors, and insights from successful projects.
We will also include an interactive self-assessment activity based on real ERC experiences, helping participants evaluate their own readiness for an ERC application.
