Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance
IPA is the EU’s primary funding instrument designed to support candidate and potential candidate countries throughout the accession process. Through these funds, the European Union aims to contribute to political, institutional, social, and economic reforms.
IPA funding helps finance the alignment of national legislation and standards with EU norms, capacity-building activities, and preparation for the obligations associated with EU membership.
