Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance
IPA is the main financial instrument established by the European Union to support the reform processes of candidate and potential candidate countries.
Funds and Scope
IPA funds support countries in moving closer to European Union standards in the areas of legislative alignment, institutional capacity building, economic transformation, regional cooperation, and sustainable development.
Through this support, long-term transformation and implementation processes are financed for public institutions, academic structures, and various stakeholders.
