National Context: TÜBİTAK serves as a Bridgehead Organization (BHO) and represents Türkiye in the EURAXESS initiative to facilitate openness, transparency, and a merit-based approach in recruitment.

HR Excellence in Research (HRS4R)
METU endorsed the 40 principles of the "European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct" in October 2018. By implementing these principles, METU joins a community of European institutions committed to continuously improving HR practices.
